«Ó artolas (a ver se reconheces um portuense) andas a pagar direitos de autor às pessoas que fotografas em Santa Catarina, Fernandes Tomás, etc.? Ou és um profissional liberal só para o que te convém? Cheira-me que és um daqueles profissionais liberais que só mete os pés na baixa para “captar a essência e a genuinidade da cidade” mas deves viver para aí em Gaia, na Boavista ou na Foz. Vens para aqui armado em quê, ó artolas?»
«O Pumpy (see if you recognize one Oporto) stilts to pay royalties to the people photographed in Santa Catarina Fernandes Tomás, etc..? Or are you a professional only for what suits you? Smells like you're one of those professionals who only set foot in downtown to "capture the essence and authenticity of the city" but you must live there in Gaia, in Boavista and Foz You come in here armed what, O Pumpy?»

"So can you use the Lumix 20mm lens for portraits? Yes, but don't stick the camera in the face of the subject. At a distance of about 0.7m (2 feet) or more, the face distortion should not be noticeable. If you need to, you can crop off a bit of the borders, to get a closer portrait.
Of course, you could take a so called "environmental portrait", in which you don't just shoot the face, but include some more of the person, and some elements around him or her. In that case, it makes good sense to use the 20mm lens. In fact, I'd say the Panasonic Lumix 20mm f/1.7 pancake is a perfect lens for environmental portraits."

PLUS ONE COLLECTION UPDATE: The book arrived!
My first and most probably last published picture...
I just got my own copy of The Plus One Collection 2012 book!
«Within two months, working entirely through the online community - a book designer in London, a Web designer in Switzerland, an engineer in Germany, and a law office in Washington, D.C., all donated services - Makarov has self-published a visually stunning coffee-table book called "Plus One Collection," with 200 full-page photos.»
- San Francisco Chronicle
Many thanks Ivan Makarov and Andy Lee for publishing the book, Lee Thatcher, RE Casper and Roman Kruglov for being my neighbours and many many thanks the portuguese customs for clearing the book without extra charges, LOL.
